"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." - Ecclesiastes 3:1 Today, let us reflect on the ever-changing times and seasons that God has set in motion on earth. As Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." Indeed, if we observe our environment and history, we will see, as Ecclesiastes 1:9 states, "There is nothing new under the sun." From the moment of Creation, God established the universe to operate with perpetual motion. In Ecclesiastes 3, the author, Solomon, delves into the natural cycles of life on Earth. He juxtaposes these natural rhythms with God's spiritual work, which transcends the mere patterns of earthly existence. From birth to death, and the continuation of life through death, this cycle persists, ordained by God Himself. Psalm 104:19 further underscores the natural order established by God, affirming, "He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down." Yet, if we focus solely on this natural rhythm, it may seem that we are destined to merely traverse life within the continuous circadian cycle ingrained in our DNA, akin to mere beasts living by instinct. However, unless we are granted a revelation into something deeper, none can fathom the entirety of God's work. As Genesis 8:22 states, "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." Ecclesiastes 3:21 ponders the fate of the human spirit, contrasting it with that of beasts. Without the spirit of God, our existence may seem confined to the natural order, as verse 22 suggests, finding contentment in our works. Yet, amidst this natural cycle, there is a key verse that illuminates the deeper spiritual truth. Galatians 4:4 declares, "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law." With the coming of Jesus Christ, God was ready to dwell in the hearts of mankind. For those who heed His call, we become the dwelling places promised by Jesus, elevated above the mere cycles of natural life. Though we may not see every step ahead, we are led by the Light, transcending the perpetual motion of the natural universe. While we remain subject to the laws governing this earthly realm, there is hope. As Jesus promised, once we overcome the world, our existence extends beyond the natural. So, whether rejoicing in the joys of this world or enduring its trials, let us remember that our earthly tribulations are but temporary. We have the assurance of eventual liberation from the perpetual motion of the natural universe providing we continue on and finish the work that was placed before us by God. Prayer Lord, We humbly acknowledge that we cannot presume to be released from the cyclical repetition of the natural laws of the universe, which You set in motion at the inception of creation. Yet, amidst the constancy of these laws, we beseech You to continue shining Your light just ahead of us, guiding our path through the uncertainties of life. Grant us the wisdom to remain close to You, recognizing that only in Your presence do we find true refuge and deliverance from the inevitable cycles of earthly existence. Father, we earnestly pray for the strength and foresight to keep our eyes fixed on You amidst the swirling whirlwind of this natural world. Help us to remain steadfast in our faith and devotion, knowing that it is through our communion with You that we transcend the limitations of mere earthly existence. Thank You, Lord, for the promise of becoming like You one day, elevated above the instincts of beasts and attaining the fullness of spiritual maturity. As we journey through this natural realm, Father, we implore You to keep us safe from the snares and temptations that threaten to ensnare us. Grant us Your divine protection and guidance, that we may walk confidently in Your ways, unaffected by the relentless cycles of this world. In Your holy and precious name, we offer this prayer, trusting in Your unfailing love and mercy. Amen. 🌟 Enjoyed this read? Share the Blessing! 🌟

The Mission: In these devotionals, I seek not to preach, but to share a journey of faith, guided by God's wisdom. My aim is not to impart my own wisdom, but to serve as a conduit for the divine messages that resonate through the scriptures. The Process: Prayerful Beginnings: Each day starts with a prayer, an open-hearted conversation with God, seeking guidance on the message to be shared. Scripture Selection: Since there is no bad verse in the Bible, a verse of scripture is randomly chosen. Or if I feel a heavy drawing to a specific topic I search the Word for the appropriate verse that deals with that topic. Contextual Understanding: I delve into the rich background of the chosen verse, exploring who spoke these words, to whom they were addressed, and what was the underlying message. This contextual study is deepened by examining why the message was delivered, uncovering the intent and the circumstances that inspired these words. Equally important is how the message was communicated, whether through parables, direct teachings, or poetic expressions, revealing the method behind the scripture's enduring impact. This comprehensive exploration helps in grasping the broader meaning, connecting us more deeply with the divine wisdom embedded in each verse. Reflective Mediation: Armed with knowledge and guided by prayer, I reflect on the verse. This reflection is not just an intellectual exercise but a spiritual experience, seeking to understand how this verse speaks to different hearts in different ways. Diverse Messages: The devotionals are crafted to resonate with a wide array of believers - from those new to faith to those who have walked with God for years. Each message is intended to touch hearts, whether as a gentle reminder, a spark of realization, or a comforting assurance. Humble Servitude: Above all, I recognize that these messages are not of my own making. I am but a mere instrument in God's hands, tasked with documenting and sharing His word. My role is that of a documentarian, capturing the divine insights revealed through me. The Belief: "If you have ears, you will hear; if you have eyes, you will see." These words of Jesus Christ guide these devotionals. I understand that not all messages are for all moments, but each is crafted with the hope that it will find those who need it most at the right time. Growing up in Florida as the eldest of five in a devout Christian family, my life was deeply rooted in the church. Baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit in my teens, I attended the church's private school until high school graduation in 2000. However, post-graduation, I drifted from the church and lived without serving God for 22 years. Despite this distance, my belief in God never waned. In 2009, I married, and we're blessed with two sons. My spiritual awakening began in 2023. Despite trying to manage a financial crisis on my own, it was an answered prayer that reignited my faith. Desperately needing a specific amount of money, I prayed for divine intervention after all attempts failed. Miraculously, a veteran organization unexpectedly granted me the exact amount I needed without repayment. This was no coincidence – it was a clear answer from God. This experience revitalized my faith. While I'm still discerning God's plan for me, I've chosen to use my media talents to serve Him. |
